“Why, after years of digital transformation, is paper still being scanned.” Through discovery, attendees will evaluate the processes of patient flow and employee workflow for a holistic view that identifies where and why paper is introduced. Sources of paper include output from a device, capturing patients’ signatures for consent or getting a requisition approved. This discovery process will help evaluate the best solutions to achieve the transformation from paper to digital processes as well as using database integration for known and verified information to be used for easy completion of documents. Also through discovery of sources that still generate paper during patient flow, solutions will be presented to aide in achieving the transformation from paper to digital processes. For employees on the go, we’ll also see how to transform back-office paper processes for getting requisitions approved.
