Knowing where to start when it comes to creating a reporting infrastructure can be a daunting task. This webinar presents how to approach designing an enterprise-wide reporting environment no matter the size of your organization. For those who already have an established infrastructure, the webinar also covers new and state-of-the-art architectures. The contents of the webinar can also be applied to professionals who need to create a departmental reporting environment. The presenter will show a generic template that can be used to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of reporting tools. The template can also be customized to reflect the organization’s requirements for reporting tools. The template will be given to each attendee in Excel format. After the reporting tool review and architecture discussion, there will be a brief review of the skills needed by staff to operate the tools and build the reporting environment. The focus will be on the hard technical skill requirement (e.g. programming languages and hardware configuration) along with soft skills such as project management, presentation methods, and storytelling. Attendees gain the understanding of available reporting architectures in the marketplace, as well as various reporting tools, enabling them to identify the best solutions for their organizations.
