Webinar Recordings

Participants leave with a direct understanding of evaluation and management (E&M) services. We will perform a detailed look into the basic code requirements breaking down the history, exam, and medical decision-making sections. We will review the differences between the 1995 guidelines and the 1997 guidelines. Attendees get an understanding of the requirements for building these services and also review the medical necessity of these services. We will discuss how to look for "cloned" information in provider notes and how to deal with those instances. Attendees  walk away from the presentation with an auditor's viewpoint of E&M services. We will also talk about "tips and tricks" for remembering the requirements of each sections. The audience can use these "tips and tricks" for themselves and others they may train at a later day.
