About the author

Lynn Kuehn, MS, RHIA, CCS-P, FAHIMA, is president of Kuehn Consulting in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Previously, she has served in health information management and coordination positions in a variety of healthcare settings. In her volunteer role, Ms. Kuehn has served as secretary and chair of the Ambulatory Care Section of AHIMA and the chair of several national committees. She was a member of the AHIMA Board of Directors from 2005–2007 and served as the chair of the AHIMA Foundation Board of Directors in 2011–2012.
